On Tuesday, July 22nd, a cubic meter of water containing a bicycle saddle went into the freezer at Veldboer Eenhoorn. Under the watchful eye of people from Auxili-ja! and the Cycling Action Foundation from Zwaag, the container was filled with water and the saddle was hung in it. That was a bit of a challenge because the saddle didn't stay in place but started to float. Weighed down with some stones it finally worked and the container was driven into the freezer. There, the water has until Friday, August 15th, to turn into ice. Towards the end of that afternoon, the cubic meter of ice will be transported to Wervershoof and placed in the rectory garden. Then it's just a matter of waiting for the bicycle saddle to hit the bottom of the container. For a donation of 5 euros, you can guess when you think that will happen. The proceeds will go to the aforementioned foundation from Zwaag. In addition to a cash prize, there are two other great prizes to be won. More on that later.
